The topic of our February meeting will be a followup to the January topic of "Communicating architecture in an agile environment"

The group at the January meeting showed a lot of interest in the idea of modeling architectures for communication.  The group decided that the February meeting will be a hands on exercise where we will build architectures for communication and explore this activity in more detail.  We will be going back to embrace our inner child and building some architectures using Lego blocks and Tinker Toys.  This will be a great chance to explore the communication value present in such an activity to help dissiminate technical ideas to both the technical and non-technical audience.  We will end the exercise with a discussion of how these techniques compare and contrast with more traditional means of communication.

Hyperformix is on the south side of Lake Austin at the 360 Pennybacker bridge.

• Coming down 360 from the north, turn right into the first driveway (immediately) after the bridge.

• Coming up 360 from the south, exit right before the bridge, take the turnaround under the bridge and then turn right into first driveway.

You can park in the open lots or any of the garages that aren't indicated as reserved.  The meeting will be held on the first floor.
